This application offers an opportunity to evaluate and enhance your photographic memory capabilities by challenging you to memorize the positions of up to nine numbers within a constrained time frame.

In this test, the chimpanzee Ayumu demonstrates exceptional skill, accurately recalling number placements after briefly viewing them for only 210 milliseconds. Human participants tend to perform less effectively under the same conditions. How well can you perceive and remember at a glance?

The program allows for adjustable settings, including longer viewing times and fewer numbers to memorize, providing a tailored training experience. There is also a specialized mode that temporarily hides the numbers until the first one is touched—an approach Ayumu himself employed during his initial training, after learning that the numbers are sequentially ordered.

Progress tracking features comprehensive statistics, giving users insights into their improvement over time (perhaps with a bit of humor noting Ayumu’s preference for raisins as a reward).

This application is grounded in empirical research, based on trials involving chimpanzees conducted in Japan in 2007.
